My Guru, Landon
FOLLOW #TEAMLANDON
ON
You may have already seen Landon, of #TeamLandon, on social media websites and in the news, but there is more to him than the clips can show you. The first time I met Landon he was out cold under general anesthesia and the levity of his transcendent nature was evident withal.
Having a propensity to devour scholarly peer reviewed articles and winding about the Cannabis crowds in Colorado predisposed Landon's story to catch my attention as it came across my desk. I was blown away. This little boy had survived both Leukemia and the chemotherapy treatment before he'd even turned three years old. And now here he was living proof of everything I'd been reading; apoptosis of Leukemic cells, the benefits of Cannabis, right in front of me!
While doctors continually declared that most children did just fine with the standardized protocol of pediatric chemotherapy Landon was busy proving just how unique he really is. It was no easy battle and the severity of reaction to the treatments is blatant throughout the photograph documentation of his battle.
By the time the universe had placed me in his presence Landon was in remission. His hair had returned, he'd put on weight, he was smiling, developing, talking up a storm and taking Cannabis. In Utah the chemotherapy put Landon's Leukemia in remission, but telling the medical team about his Cannabis use was too risky at the time. He moved to Colorado to procure the Cannabis oil that had given back his life essence under the protection of Colorado's state constitution as a registered medical cannabis patient. Surprising doesn't begin to encompass the feeling that washed over me upon discovering that, although he moved to the state blazing trails of emerging medicinal benefits linked to the endocannabinoid system, Landon's new oncology team would demand that he undergo three more years of chemotherapy.

My Guru, Landon continued
Let me take a minute to explain, Landon's blood work came back again and again confirming he was in remission. Witnessing firsthand the dramatic improvement once he began taking the Cannabis oil the family on his team called a medical meeting. Their request? So long as Landon remains in remission; monitor his status with weekly blood work, suspend standard chemotherapy protocols, stop steroid treatment, and continue alternative treatments including Cannabis, organic diet, and supplements. The intensity which he experienced side effects when under common protocol was simply not worth it unless he relapses.
Request denied. In fact in addition to receiving forced chemotherapy every 30 days Sierra and Landon have also been subjected to numerous threats to break up their family and several visits from child services at the request of the medical professionals on his team. No parent should have to go through the hardships that come with having a child with cancer. So why are they making things worse?
Often times when we see things in the news it seems unreal to us. I assure you Landon is a very real little boy. I have held him and comforted him while he feels terrible after chemo sessions. I have laughed with him and played many games of make believe. I have learned from him a multitude of lessons. I have let him scream in my face and told him I love him no matter what when the medications and the reality of his sentence to three more years of poisoning are simply too much for him, a four year old, to cope with. He has won over the hearts of my children, my partner and many the world wide.
Landon still needs your help however. There are still MILLIONS of people whom have not been reached. Who still believe in the reefer madness propaganda, the D.A.R.E. era, and have no idea that the endocannabinoid system even exists. I am personally calling you to action. Even if you don't use social media, create your account and follow #TeamLandon everywhere. The more followers' #TeamLandon has the higher 'relevance' ranking they have. The higher their ranking the more publicity social media will give them, which means they'll show up in more ways and at the top. That said I challenge you to invite your friends, families, and followers to do the same.
Spread the word, Cannabis is good medicine and if you want to see some evidence click HERE.

Sweet Mary Kane is over protective of children, especially hers. She's not above shoving frosting up your nose if you smash a kiddos face into their cake and she darn sure isn't going to let threats slide. If she was having withdrawal from a Cannabis addiction how the devil could she handle herself with tact?

Fight for Our Children's Freedom
Did you know
that when Dr Marshall and Dr Warren discovered that stomach ulcers were
actually caused back a bacterium, rather than stress, none of their peers
believed them? This discovery had to be proven by Dr Marshall ingesting the
bacteria himself, causing him ulcers which he then documented and
cured with an antibiotic. Still today it is a common misconception, outside of
the medical community, that many believe: only a stressed person would develop
ulcers.
Dr Lindsey N. Micel, the lead oncologist at Children’s Memorial Health is holding onto the
misconception that chemotherapy is the only intervention for cancer. She is head
strong that the book must be followed to the letter. This isn’t surprising
given that she has a history of instructing. All the while researchers are developing alternative
treatments for cancer developing globally.
1984! It was
1984, when Dr. Marshall’s frustration with his theory and evidence being
dismissed, that his inflicted medical illness on himself so that he could prove it. 1984 was nearly three decades
ago and we haven’t learned a lesson from H. pylori?
What if Dr
Marshall hadn't had the guts to slug down that beaker of broth laced
bacterium? 10% of the population was
suffering at the time and the numbers would have only grown with no recognized
cure.
These guys were
doctors who didn't respect one another enough to give a second thought to their
fellow physicians’ theory, which by the way was correct! So I can see how the
doctors of Children Memorial’s Hospital would be quick to dismiss the beliefs
of a mother with no MD behind her name. Being dismissive is a far cry from
forcing treatment however. Adding medical doctor to the end of your name isn't authorization to override a mother’s beliefs.
Big Pharma
writing instructions for how to use their poisonous chemotherapy isn’t a
license for the state to step in and force anyone to submit to their
profiteering protocol.

Nine.
Nine is the exact number of times that I have driven through the intersection at which my cousin's motorcycle accident happened. The first time I did it on purpose. I wanted to see what it was like, I had never driven that way before. The lanes are wide and the farther north you get the smoother the asphalt becomes. It was 10:46 reportedly and I imagine the traffic was scarce. The night was very warm. As I approached, the downgrade accelerated my cruise control ten whole miles before reaching the up hill swing. What fun he must have been having I thought to myself. The breeze on him, the open road, the race track inspiring bends and turns, not to mention the roller coaster of hill up to the light. I pictured him letting go of the handle bars and smiling that huge goofball smile of his with his arms stretched out to his sides. I chuckled, then the tears began streaming into my lap.
That morning I had taken a yoga class my Aunt was instructing in the park. As I left I was very happy. I spent the drive home in silence thinking fondly of my cousins and how blessed I am to have ended up in this place so far from home and so close to family at the same time. I resolved to make more efforts to spend time with all of my local family. Jake in particular was on my mind. Early that week I had unintentionally delivered food to his home after I mistakenly inverted a couple addresses. He's within walking distance for pity sake. I told myself. Not to mention that DUI he got a while back, you should really reach out to him and let him know you're there if he needs anything. Having had my own struggles with alcohol I decided I should email him that article I just read: Endocannabinoid release from midbrain dopamine neurons: Apotential substrate for cannabinoid receptor antagonist treatment of addiction but when I got home I found that not only did I not have his email address, but he's not of Facebook AND there's no phone number listed. I planned on calling my Aunt in the next few days anyway so I shrugged it off and went about the rest of my day with my immediate family.
10:34 PM Sunday July 7, 2013
I'd nearly drifted to sleep on the couch when my boyfriend stirred me to move to the bedroom. Going straight to the bathroom I brushed my teeth, washed my face, a prepared for bed. Suddenly I was overwhelmed with sadness. My knees weakened, my face flushed, and tears began pouring from my eyes. I lowed myself to sit on the closed toilet lid and sat shaking, silently sobbing in my hands for several minutes. By 10:46 I had calmed myself down, laughed at the ridiculousness of having to rewash my face and blamed it on hormones. My other half was nearly out when I got to bed. I whispered "I cry when bad things happen to other people all the time, I guess it is just good practice for when something bad happens to someone close to me." He muttered goodnight. I slept restlessly.
7:30 AM Monday July 8, 2013
I was brushing my teeth when I passed by my boyfriends television and caught footage from two horrific motorcycle accidents locally. I watched the replay of the story. I did not make the connection that my cousin drives a motorcycle now. Throughout the day I directed positive energy to the families (though no identities were released).
Around 8 PM Monday July 8, 2013
I was sitting on the sofa watching an educational segment we'd recorded for the kids to see. Out of no where panic struck me. I jerked my body around almost terrified searching for my cell phone. Without a second glance for messages I clutched my phone depressing the power button. Why does this bloody thing ask me three different ways if I want to shut it off before doing it!? I couldn't block whatever incoming message I sensed fast enough. I reasoned, If it is that important they'll call the bat phone. The velocity with which I moved shifted with such intensity as to peek my boyfriends interest. I returned his curious stare with a wide eyed "Anyone who would need me in an emergency has the house number." We returned to the program.
7:00 AM Tuesday July 9, 2013
It was the first day of my youngest sons football camp. I'd driven him to the sports complex and we were making a plan for where to meet afterwards. It wasn't until he asked me for the time that I pulled out my cell phone and powered it on again. The sun was shining, I was surrounded by hundreds of football boys, now if my phone would just load and camp would begin I could be on my way. Once booted up I noticed I had voice mail. I never check my voice mails, I just call you back, but since the phone was off when the call came in the number isn't in the call log. I've also been known to delete messages without listening to them at all. That morning, however, I was compelled. I listened to the voice mail. I was my mother. "Hi. It's your mom. Call me back." she said. I smiled when I heard my mommy's voice. You're up early, she's an hour ahead, bet she's home if you call her. I called. It was the news that my cousin was in ICU.
Night Thursday July 11, 2013
I get word that my cousin will be going into surgery in the morning. I am elated that he is stable enough for surgery.
Morning Friday July 12, 2013
After dropping the boy off at football camp I went on a mission to find black licorice for my Aunt per my mother. Finding it at the third store I stop into I add it to the other items my family has sent. A yoyo from one son and a mini pool table from the other to help pass the time in the waiting room. I felt as though I were caught in headlights from the moment I woke up, still I made it through the day on autopilot. I called my boyfriend to let him know I was going to the hospital and wasn't sure when I would return. I sat with my Aunt and Uncle until I couldn't & had to leave to pick up my son. It was just after the second surgeon came out to tell us things had gone well and he would be taken back to his ICU room shortly. My heart is hopeful.
3:20ish AM Thursday July 18, 2013
I awaken spontaneously thinking that Jake has been talking to me. He's not there. I can't hear anything now, but the message is clear. You must come to see me at once or you will lose your chance. I am petrified, its the wee morning hours, I can't just go bursting into the ICU. I toss and turn until I wake my boyfriend and then move to the sofa. Turning on a movie, that always puts me to sleep, I load bowl after bowl and find myself unable to sleep. I cried off and on for many hours, disgested my urge to see him that day and waited for a decent hour to text my Aunt. The response was clear. You missed it. I want to call my Aunt, I want to tell her "No Aunty, you can't have space today because Jake came and told me its now or never!" but how do you tell a woman who is holding onto hope that her son will pull through something that sounds so crazy?
Around 5:30 that night I got the call that starts with "Are you sitting down?". Every moment of fear filled anxiety up to that point was instantaneously actualized. I couldn't speak. I attempted to conceal my weeping. I needed to call my mother and sister to tell them the news that brain function had not been detected and he would be under observation through the night. Without brain activity life support would cease.
5:42 AM Friday July 19, 2013
My eyes snapped open as though I'd heard a definite noise in my house. In the pitch dark I easily maneuver my way to the bathroom. Worry weighs heavy on my entire being. Cranking the water as hot as it will go I step in to the shower to cry privately in hopes the heat will relax my muscles and I will go back to bed. If I go now maybe I'll get that chance to see him. I wish there were someway to know what they saw through the night already. I checked Facebook when I woke up though ... no updates. Then, without warning, my eyes clutched shut and rolled toward the top of my head. It is as if somehow the light-less room becomes darker briefly and then becomes a new place. I feel as though I am in his room, in ICU, but I can't see a thing. In the darkness I take check of my senses. Temperature? No. Hearing? No. Emotion? None. JAKE, JAKE, JAAAKKKKKEEE!!!! I tried to scream and like that it was over. I found myself kneeling on the tub floor the water pouring over me still. It's hot again. "He's gone." slipped from my lips and I sobbed, curled up on the shower mat a while longer.
It is 8:08 when I get to my sofa. Wrapped in a bath robe, surrounded by tissues, alone.
24 minutes later the Facebook announcement of his passing goes up.
The first time I drove through it was intentional. I had to see it. The next six times were unexpected and really did a number on me. Having to take my child back and forth between several doctors that day I ended up driving right through it over and over again. I even attempted to go around it but was redirected by a construction crew and end up back there anyway. I'm hyper-vigilant when I drive now, I could tell you what street we're on, which direction we're headed, the nearest cross street, the make and model of most the vehicles in my proximity and even the state the plates are from if not some of the number letter combinations. What I seem to have trouble doing however is making it my destination without a hitch. Unless it is taking the boys to school or coming home I am likely to find myself unwittingly on the route to one or the other when in fact I should be headed to the complete opposite end of town.
The eighth time I drove through it would have been his 25th birthday. I wanted to tie red ribbons to the street poles as a gift from me to him. The rain and wind would have shredded the ones I bought. It broke my heart.
The ninth time I drove through it was yesterday. I had to take my son to have his cast removed. I had meant to look for another route, but procrastinated too long. The sun was shining, I had him to help me and he had two hands now! Alas I had forgotten to bring the ribbons.
I am angry. I feel guilty. I am hurt. I feel heartache. I am broken.

The CannaRoast of Audrey Hatfield
Last night's
CannaRoast of Audrey Hatfield at the Speak Easy Vape Lounge in Colorado Springs was by
far one of the best times to be had on a Friday night. Although you can go next
door for a drink, the atmosphere and the crowd inside here are a little
different. Many of us know each other but even the strangers smile widely as
their eyes meet and greet each other without hesitation. It's an easy place to
spark up a conversation, make a new friend, learn about the cannabis community,
and of course inhale\exhale for those 21 years and up.
Entry, only two
dollars at the door, and an intimate feeling of friends remains. True to Stoner
form I arrive a full 1 ½ hours past doors opening and I haven't missed a thing.
We arrive and are greeted by the ever charitable Ms. Audrey just outside the
front entrance. As we said our hellos and hugged I realized just how excited I was,
I bet she was nervous.
If you don't
know Audrey Hatfield now, it won't take much for you to look her up. Check
Facebook, her use of the social media website the subject of many a jibe throughout
the CannaRoast. Ms. Hatfield is the fearless leader of C4CPR, the group
determined to fight for and restore confidence to medical cannabis patients in
the state of Colorado. You can thank her for never backing down to Dan May and
for her endless efforts of patient’s rights education. Her opinion may be loud
and her voice may be strong (both claims Audrey confirmed during her portion of
the roast) but we couldn't ask for a better role model, friend, mother, sister,
daughter, teacher, and advocate. My thanks go not only to Audrey but to the
board of C4CPR who took the time to put together the jokes and roast her, as
well as my gratitude to Speak Easy and Weed Pimps.
The crowd of the
Speak Easy matches the laid back atmosphere, there are no overly enthusiastic drunken
‘I love yous’ being flung around the room, or stumbling hugs with greetings
that are slurred. In fact, even our clapping and cheering is well within the
range of respectful. If you do
already know Audrey you understand why I had to go. What in the world were they
going to say? I couldn't come up with any of my own jokes so I had to see for
myself where they could go with this. I was not disappointed!
JDub, of Weed Pimps,
was sure to state and reinstate his love of Audrey in attempt to clear himself
for the aftermath. If you want to hear the jokes however you'll have to search
for video footage.
Jaymen Johnson, of the Speak Easy says
they will be trying to incorporate CannaRoast into their schedule on a
quarterly basis. Voting ballots were cast and by a single vote JDub will get ‘vaped’
next. You can head down to 2508 East Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909 for
more event information and I’m certain they’ll be happy to give you a tour.
Audrey was also
the winner of a custom vaporizer which incorporated her likeness.
Even not getting
started on time and having its typical, technical, Stoner difficulties, we were
able to get home to the sitter by 10:30 PM. That's not to say that the Speak
Easy is only a place for an old stick in the mud like me. The crowd always
varies in age, from Twentysomethings into the 70s, yet somehow operates without
a generation gap. With music, dance floor, good friends, good vibes, good herb
and the whole night ahead of them I'm sure most of the crowd partied into the
wee morning hours. The night included the nostalgic announcement of an after
party at an all-night diner, but long gone are the days of 3 AM waffles for
Sweet Mary Kane. Whether you roll deep or fly solo, puff grass or vape concentrates,
have just arrived here on Earth or have lived many decades you'll find your
space at the Speak Easy: ‘where everybody knows your strain.’

A Tuesday Tantrum brought to you by SMK
I occasionally I spend so much time with people who are
pro-Cannabis I forget there are people out there who don't understand. For instance
today I went to see my nail tech. He's asked me before what I've done for a
living, and I've answered him that as he's Vietnamese and English is the cyclic
language he didn't quite understand until today. Once he figured it out his
response was to tell me “you're crazy”. For the next hour, he cracked jokes
about me on a pot smoker even questioning if I had tried crack?
Don't get me wrong I nail tech isn't a bully he's a funny guy. Nevertheless I
could tell that the propaganda and stereotype of Cannabis that he held in his
head was negative.
How is it that people can be so easily convinced that Cannabis
is harmful? Was I ever convinced? I think back to my days in D. A. R. E. It was
an overcrowded classroom with one teacher and one police officer to supervise nearly
to 40 kids. The handouts were like a coloring book and officer stories were so mild
I don't think anyone was convinced. I don't remember him mentioning harder
drugs or legal drugs like alcohol and pharmaceuticals. Which together rack up
death tolls around 175,000 annually in the United States. I don't remember considering
it as truth for even a moment when he told me that plant Cannabis was a drug
either. In fact, what I remember most about that D. A. R. E. class was the
segment that covered AIDS. Maybe some of the kids had never heard of drugs
before as I'm pretty sure many have never heard of AIDS. After the officer gave
a brief description, he attempted to shake the hand of the boy sitting in the
desk behind me. The boy would not extend his hand to the officer. As I had
already had this discussion with my parents, and knew it wasn’t transmitted
by a handshake, I eventually leaned back over his desk and took the officer's
hand. Perhaps some people just believe the first thing they hear. Especially as
children who are taught never to question anything.
After discovering tons of immensely ridiculous ads making
outlandish claims that Cannabis can: kill you, be shot up, trigger you to
switch teams, drain your beauty, ruining your teeth, etc. The propaganda and
how it influences our society is in the forefront of my mind. To those of us
who are in the Cannabis industry or on the edges of it, know people in the
industry, and/or are inclined to read actual empirical evidence find these
outrages blatant lies are nothing more than something for our amusement. Aren't
we outnumbered though? If more people buy into the misleading campaigns against
Cannabis than have the ability to recognize it as nonsense, why should we let
that be a joke? Should we not stand up and call for blackout of such
misinformation? It seems to me that our tolerance is every bit as liable for
the gap in communication, understanding, and knowledge between anti-and pro-sides
of the issue.
The problem with this type of thinking is that it stems from
the belief that humans are capable of sharing a unanimous opinion. It blurs the
line between ‘we’ and ‘I’. It allows right and wrong to pose as a reality
inside my mind when in truth there is only ‘is’. So how can this thing that
bothers me change? Since I can only lay claim to my own actions and since I am
such a tiny piece of a large puzzle how can I make an impact?
I don't know. Maybe it can't be changed. It is probable
there will be little to no impact from my immediate action is anyways. I'm not
the kind of girl who backs down from a fight though. So what am I going to do?
The same thing that I've always done, which is write letters to the people that
are responsible when something upsets me, only now I'm going to do it without
sharing the actual propaganda itself.

DIRTY LAUNDRY
Sometimes a girl’s just got a come clean, not that I ever
had any reason to lie to you. You see the thing is you might think that I'd
never had a sip of alcohol the way I'm so vocal about my disdain. The truth is
if you would have seen me back in the day you've been convinced I would die
from my love affair with alcohol.
That's right, this sweet little girl, used to drink and swear
and run amuck with the best of them. I guess that's one of the things that make
it so terrible to lose my cousin to a drunken driving accident. Don't get me
wrong he wasn't hurt by someone else he was the driver who drank. That doesn't
change the fact that I lost him.
In fact, this is actually the second DUI he would have been
facing. It had been quite some time since his first; I suppose I just wanted to
assume he was unlucky and that he knew better now. We weren't that close to
begin with, me growing up in Oregon him in Colorado, but that's no excuse for
my neglecting to offer my help. I can't take back the things I never said, but
if I could, I would've said to him, one time in private, “Cousin, if you never
want to drink again, you don't have to. Call me anytime.”
It is funny how you could interpret” taking back the things you never said” to suggest that someone twisted your words, and you can't apologize for what they thought you meant, but not me. Me, I always interpreted to mean, if you don't speak from your heart - if you don't have the courage to say the things that need to be said you will regret it. Boy, do I DUCKING regret that.

There was never a pitcher to live who had anything on the
curve ball that the universe will throw you. And so I guess the message is this:
Too Bad, Don’t Drink!

Thursday Pot Thoughts: Volume 8: The Skinny
I've seen a lot of "skinny pot smokers" taglines come across my feed today. I love that there are people actually complying the scientific data for these things. It has crossed my mind numerous occasions to write about Cannabis and weight loss. After all when I moved to Colorado I was 52 pounds heavier than I am today. And not only did I drop the weight of an average eight year old I've kept it off over a year. Why shouldn't I talk about it?
I think I get paranoid about writing things that I can't back up. Yea, I know I'm entitled to my opinion, but how can I really form an opinion without a multitude of information?
From my perspective Cannabis not only helped me lose weight but increased my consumption of healthy foods. I simply crave whole, raw, natural foods beyond twice as often. I was able to cease my consumption of alcohol which I would often drink for pain, and while it would not touch the pain it would incapacitate me in other ways. Triggering migraines, early bedtimes, dehydration, and so on. I'm not taking any narcotics or prescriptions at all for that matter. I stand up straighter. I am physically active. I am happy. And I'm just eating and smoking this plant!
Out my window I see a rapidly growing number of people who are experiencing the kind of relief and results that miracles are made of. I've met people who've left behind their canes after using Cannabis Balm for their Multiple Sclerosis. Consumed high doses of Cannabis and walked after being in a chair for 6 years. Come back from the edge of terminal Crohn's just eating Cannabis oil. I've seen smiles on the faces of patients. I have seen the love in the eyes of the growers and care givers. And even if the only help that Cannabis has to offer some is relief and improved quality of life, to me that's enough.
Which is where this gets tricky. Because you see I want to stand up and scream and shout and make a scene in the name of freeing my Sweet Mary Jane. Writing letters and phone calls to everyone I'm considering voting for aside, I don't have a lot to offer the cause.
I remember the first "activist action" I took. I just met this girl (like literally that day) and she wanted to go tag this nearby structure that was going up. I was brand new to the neighborhood so of COURSE I wanted to make a new friend. I was in like sin - provided we left a message. We proceeded to the nearest hardware store, stole two cans of black spray paint, and proceeded to scrawl "SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY" circling a Cannabis leaf. I loved it. I was so happy with our handy work,(the next morning we could see it from the bus stop) that I convince all the cats from my old block to take my bus and see it after. It was pretty discouraging when we pulled up along side the wall to find it already painted over. Hazard of painting in progress buildings. Lesson learned.
I smirk about it now, so young, so defiant. Still, even though it is just a plant, and I believe to the core of my bones, through the universe from this life to the next and beyond that everyone should have the same rights to Cannabis as they do to carrots, apples, peas, corn, tomatoes (and fight for your food, please Buddhas stand up against Monsanto, peacefully), and strawberries I have to hesitate. I hold back, pause, bite my tongue sometimes. Those are the moments when I realize that my interest are tipping to advocacy over activism. But then who gets to make the rules? Who gets to say why, how, what dose? As though I'm playing myself in a mental game of Spy Vs. Spy.
There isn't an easy answer and I don't want to have to choose sides. My official stance: always radiate these truths with love. My alliances lay with the beings of Earth.
Enjoy!

Thursday Pot Thoughts: Volume 7
As I sit here, reading through the screen shots of cell phones playing pranks on parents, this blog is nagging at the back of my head. It is Thursday again folks, and we all know what that means. Sweet Mary Kane is going to let the crazy ooze from her fingertips. Letting the crazy out is always better than letting the crazy in and you're the one who is reading this. I'm just saying.
It's not that I don't want to write my blog anymore. It's more that, with so much going on lately, it's too loud in here to sort all out and get it down with any kind of clarity. And by here I mean in my mind. Though technology ... Oh how I love thee, Oh how I hate thee ... I'm certain contributes to the rapid pace of my life. In fact, the prank I'm scrolling through now came to me just that way. I couldn't tell you who's feed or which platform it came from yet here I am reading it.
The prank I am referring to is one in which teens sent a text to their parental figures that read "Got 2 grams for 40$?!" Followed by the text “Never mind, that wasn't for you.”. The responses are amusing. One individual evidently has his mother fooled as she buys it when he replies “Grammar Books” and she offers up more money. I wonder how I would respond. I suppose that I would wonder why they didn't just ask me. Then again I tend to over think so perhaps I would take it as a question rather than a declaration, after all punctuation containing both an exclamation point and a question mark seems to me to swing either way.
Set the pranks aside and focus on the kids. Which sorts of things do I provide my children in terms of education of Cannabis? What information did my parents give me? What information did my parents have? Where am I going to get more information? It's a whole new landscape forming right before my eyes, and it is marvelous. I am so honored and truly highly favored to be able to bear witness to its evolution. I can't wait to see what's next. My sincerest gratitude to you all.

Translucent
I can't be the only one with Alopecia Universalis that is also constantly pestered with pain. I didn't have the pain at first. Or maybe I did (I read that auto immune disorders also come with a good amount of pain tolerance) and just didn't notice as much before. Either way the intensity and consistency of the pain around my joints as well as the frequency and pain level of muscle spasms.
My symptoms fit that of a fibromyalgia and seem to improve with proper diet, regular exercise, and restful nights. Should I go to the doctor? Why the devil would I do a thing like that at this point in the game? I did not go to a doctor to give birth, twice, nor a hospital. I've rejected treatment/medication recommendations over and over based on the long list of side effects not worth the risk.
It gets exhausting, some days more than others, keeping up a happy appearance while my brain is pestering my with pain signals. Put those on the low priority list! Agreed. Smiling usually does the trick. Gratitude. And of course, Cannabis. Cannabis as I use it currently works to alleviate the nagging joint aches and muscle spasms throughout the day. Of course I have to stop to smoke it several times a day. Or I can commit to an edible which will last me most of the day. And then there is that pesky little bugger, tolerance. Up, up, up goes my tolerance and up, up, up goes my medicine bill. Go off for a week, work out hard, drink lots of water, you're tolerance will drop. Are you crazy!? Guess I'm going to have to build up the courage.
I really appreciate Cannabis for what it does do for me, still I find myself asking if it can do more. Can it 'fix' this problem of mine? Can it reverse, switch off, counter out autoimmunity? Could I wake up not stiff, sore, irritated, and desperate for a dose of Cannabinoids? You realize you'd have to make your own RSO? Trust no one says Rick Simpson himself. He also said, "Turn to mother nature if you want to see healing power - that's where you're going to see it." We're not talking about cancer its risky, expensive, and unpredictable. Research, I've got to do a better job of digging through what little research is already out there.
Best to focus on the fight for terminal patients right to treat themselves with Cannabis for now.
Power to the people.
